About Us

Our Story

We, Jeff and Kim Griessmann, decided to migrate west of DC in 2016 for the slower pace and gorgeous topography Western Loudoun had to offer. Both of us had a passion for northern Virginia's land and fertile soil, as well as a dream for a sustainable farm to nourish our family's bellies and spirit. As a result, Jake Farm was born. Soon after, neighbors, friends, and family began requesting more of our farm-raised and harvested meats for their families. As a result, we decided to open up our farm to the local community and share our bounty with all who may desire the farm-to-table lifestyle.

Our growing farm is nestled on the ridge of the Appalachian Mountains and focuses on sustainably raised Berkshire pork, beef, chicken, and eggs. Our family-run farm is shared with daughters Ellie and Ashley Griessmann, hence the name: JAKE - J(Jeff) A(Ashley) K(Kim) E(Ellie). Our family would love to share our passion and our produce with yours!
